“ BIANCAMARIA ”
Biancamaria, designer, imagined and designed Violinetta.
She was born and lives in the city she loves, Cremona; extremely shy and reserved, she prefers not to reveal her identity.
"Distorting a practically perfect shape, like that of the violin, was particularly difficult for me.
I sought an ironic and dramatic shape, one that would trigger an emotion in those who look at it, different from all the others, immediately recognizable; it wasn't easy, but I hope I succeeded; for me the shape is the essence of an idea.
All my life is inside Violinetta, and all my love for Cremona and for the people who live there.
I have loved more than anything else. Love is the only thing that really matters."
GIULIO VINCENZO
Giulio Vincenzo created the prototypes of the violinetta and is responsible for its production.
He boasts significant experience in prototyping and product development in the automotive, advanced manufacturing, and construction sectors.
A descendant of an ancient Brescian family (one of his ancestors was commander of the heroic resistance during the sack of Brescia in 1512 against the French), he lives in Cremona.
“When life presented me with the bill, and many who claimed to be my friends betrayed me and turned their backs on me, Cremona welcomed and adopted me; since then, I began to love it, until I felt it as my own city."
MICHELA
Michela, childhood friend of the designer Biancamaria and a great lover of handbags, sees in Violinetta a tribute to her beloved city, an eclectic accessory, elegant yet at the same time fun, designed down to the smallest detail. She does not directly contribute to its creation, but perhaps more than anyone else, she made it concretely possible, bringing Biancamaria and Giulio together in the shadow of the Torrazzo, so that Violinetta could become the secret source of femininity for every woman.
